In 2012, Kenya Cummins' original poem "To Love is to Catch a Glimpse of Heaven" was published by the America Library of Poetry in a compilation of contest submissions.
During the 2018-2019 academic school year, Kenya participated as a contributing writer for the JAC Magazine, published by the Scripps Howard School of Journalism & Communications.
